My focus as your Councilmember has been to look out for Seniors, Children and our Community.

Looking Out for Seniors

  • Voted against all biennial property tax, utility rate increases and ambulance transport fees
  • Served as Senior Commission liaison for two years
  • Supported funding for Mary Wayte pool

Looking Out for Our Children

  • Early and committed proponent of pedestrian-activated crosswalks on Island Crest Way
  • Supported the Mercer Island School District levies
  • Voted to increase funding to school counselors

Looking Out for Our Community

  • Member of City Council’s Public Safety sub-committee and city emergency volunteer
  • Supported expanding West and East Mercer Way shoulders for improved safety for cyclists and pedestrians
  • Serve on Parks and Recreation sub-committee and Rotary Park Chairman
